World Sustainable Transport Day is celebrated annually on 26th November to promote the importance of developing transport systems that are environmentally friendly. Electric vehicles (EVs) are emerging at the forefront of this transport revolution, offering cleaner and more efficient alternatives to traditional internal combustion engines. EVs have a 50 to 80% better carbon footprint than their petrol counterparts. However, to fully realise the environmental benefits of EVs, it is crucial to support their adoption with robust sustainable EV charging infrastructure.
